Allerhope 10-Head Skin Test Applicator
Allerhope® 10-head applicators are used when performing allergy skin testing. Each test head consists of a proprietary 7-prong prick pattern. The 10-head applicators are used with the Allerhope® 40-well tray. They are for medical providers trained in their use with experience evaluating the test results.

Instructions for Use
- Match arrow on the skin tester device to the arrow on the tray.
- Place device into the tray with all of the 10 heads loaded properly, without touching anywhere on the tray, then remove.
- Hold the device vertical to the skin with the arrow constantly pointing toward the patient's head.
- Select patient's testing sites which will permit sufficient surface area to allow all of the tines penetration.
- Press down with moderate pressure, without lifting, slightly rocking the device until adequate and uniform penetration of tines from all of the 10 heads are gained.
- On arm: rock the device from side to side
- On back: rock the device from side to side, then top to bottom
- Withdraw the skin tester device (when properly performed, a distinct puncture pattern from the points will be observed, without causing bleeding)
- Make an identification mark (A, B, C, D in sequence) for each of the 10 testing sites on the skin at the arrow end of the testing device, making sure that the A, B, C, D on the skin match with the A, B, C, D on the tray.
- Discard the device after one use as medical contaminant.
- Repeat steps until testing is complete.
